Appointment of District II Commissioner Neat Robinson as Vice Chair for the 2025 term
Henry County, GA – January 8, 2025
The Henry County Board of Commissioners is proud to announce the unanimous appointment of District II Commissioner Neat Robinson as Vice Chair for the 2025 term. Commissioner Robinson’s extensive experience, strong leadership skills and unwavering commitment to serving the residents of Henry County make her an excellent choice for this role.The appointment was made during the Board’s first meeting of the year on January 7.Commissioner Robinson brings a wealth of public service experience to the position. Before joining the Henry County Board of Commissioners, she served as a member of the Stockbridge City Council, where she honed her ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, as a Board Member for the Georgia Department of Corrections 13th Congressional District, she gained valuable insights into state-level governance and community advocacy.In her role as Vice Chair, Commissioner Robinson will work closely with Chair Carlotta Harrell and the Board of Commissioners to advance key initiatives for the county. She will also perform the Chair’s official duties when necessary."I am honored to assume the role of Vice Chair and look forward to continuing my work alongside my fellow commissioners to address the needs of our community,” said Robinson. “Together, we will strive to foster a more promising future for all residents of Henry County."Known for her ability to collaborate across all levels of government, Commissioner Robinson has built a reputation for reaching across the aisle to find common ground and solve complex problems.
